The bombing of the Saudi Oil fields illustrates how Globalization (which includes economic, political and environmental upheaval) is one of the 3 disruptions informing the future of work… or as I like to call it the ‘now of work’ because we are experiencing these disruptions now and we must make changes to meet these disruptions now.

The disruption from Globalization forces us to rethink how our organizations are structured. We must be agile enough to face sudden challenges and to lean into unexpected opportunities.

How would you respond If you ran the refineries who will lose business because of the lost oil? What opportunities arise from this for other businesses and how could you, as a leader within those businesses take advantage.

This is the world we live in now and we must be agile to win the future of work.
