Warning – these are addictive!

Batch number 15 and the last for the year! I learned to make these Christmas treats from my mother at the age of 12 in our farmhouse in Wisconsin where I grew up. Since 1996 I’ve been making them for friends, family, clients (to whom I can physically deliver as they do not ship well) and my own team. This year I will have delivered over 600 pieces.

Every year I think it will be my last as our client list grows. But I suspect I’ll never stop making them. I love seeing the look on people’s faces when they first try one. And I have to laugh when my repeat clients drop subtle (or not so subtle) hints that they hope I’ll be making them this year.

So today, our last day before the holiday shut down, I thought I’d share the recipe with my whole community. Whether or not I’ve met you in person, I appreciate your support in reading my posts and newsletters. I appreciate your comments, likes and shares.
